Our clinic performs routine soft tissue surgeries in small animals. Some of the more common surgical procedures we do are spays and neuters, tumor removals, cystotomies, amputations, c-sections, certain types of eye surgeries and abdominal exploratories. We are fortunate to have a board certified surgeon available to come to our clinic to provide service for more advanced procedures. We refer out to specialty clinics for orthopedic surgeries.
All of our surgical patients are continuously monitored by an anesthesia assistant with Doppler blood pressure readings, pulse oximetry, a respiratory monitor, and placed on a heated circulating water blanket.
