Dr. Bo Reich

Dr. Reich attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with honors in 1997.  Prior to moving to North Florida, she lived in Miami and worked for South Miami Animal clinic for nine years.   Dr. Bo grew up in a house full of animals -horses, dogs, cats, birds, chickens, snakes, a tarantula and a ferret, as well as the occasional possum and squirrel.    After  graduation she began working at Suwannee Oaks Animal Clinic and became Dr. Wolfersteig’s partner in 2005. Dr. Bo has special interest in surgery, ophthalmology and dentistry.

“The best thing about Suwannee Oaks,” she says, “is the team work involved with treating the patients.  When you come to Suwannee Oaks, you don’t just get one veterinarians opinion.  We often discuss cases and study radiographs, slides and bloodwork results as a team and often times come to the best treatment plan for the patients based on these discussions.   All of the veterinarians are members of VIN (Veterinary Information Network) which is a valuable online resource that enables us to research and discuss cases with a multitude of specialists in all different types of specialities.  The collaborative nature of our practice is one of our greatest attributes.”

When she’s not at work, Dr. Bo spends a lot of time studying veterinary medicine. She also enjoys practicing the banjo, running, biking with her husband, and riding her horse Repay.
